Engineering a 48-hour global pulse to solve for connection in a distributed world.
Mission: Atlassian required a solution to combat the cultural fragmentation of a diverse, global WFH workforce. The challenge was to deliver critical business messaging and build camaraderie across multiple time zones without the ‘Zoom fatigue’ of traditional digital events.
Design: I engineered ‘CX24’, a 48-hour continuous global stream designed as a ‘Global Cultural Pulse’. We created 24 individual hours of connection, utilising technology as the ‘hidden infrastructure’ to facilitate live content collaborations. The design bridged the digital-physical divide, ensuring every employee felt anchored to the core mission in real-time.
Impact: Successfully re-anchored a distributed workforce of 600+ remote CX employees during a period of structural change, resulting in an uplift in employee sentiment.
